The ABCA World Congress Committee, the Bible of the Bush (the Queensland Country Life) and four leading Brangus studs have joined forces to put together a very special promotion for the 6th World Brangus Congress.

The Stud Starter Pack Giveaway was launched today through Queensland's main rural newspaper, with a full-page ad showcasing an exciting array of Brangus genetics on offer.

Four major Australian Brangus studs - Duarran, Redline, Bimbadeen and Charlevue - have generously donated over $15 000 worth of genetics to offer two exciting prizes.

A 'red pack' offers a registered red Brangus heifer (Redline Helan) along with 100 straws of registered red Brangus semen (including 50 straws of Duarran Flinders).

A 'black pack' offers a registered black Brangus heifer (Bimbadeen Greta) with 100 straws of registered black brangus semen (including 50 straws of Charlevue Centrefield).

Both prizes also include a year's membership of the Australian Brangus Cattle Association.

'This is a unique offer unlike anything we have promoted before,' said QCL general manager John Warlters.

World Brangus Congress Chairman, Ian Galloway, said the standard of genetics being offered was outstanding and he expected strong interest from across the Australian beef breeding industry.

"Brangus is just hitting it's straps here in Australia - what an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to get their start in such a versatile and fast-growing beef breed."
All animals being offered (pictured) will be on display at Beef 2012 with the two prizes being drawn at the expo, after show cattle judging.
