2022 Burnham Youth Award

Youth and Full members under the age 25 in the Association are encouraged to apply for the 2022 Burnham Youth Award.
 
The Burnham Youth Award seeks to recognise the positive contribution of young Brangus breeders towards the development and promotion of the Brangus breed in Australia. The award is presented annually at the ABCA Annual General Meeting in Rockhampton.
 
This award was first instigated in 1998, by long-time Brangus breeders Bruce and Barbara Burnham, for whom the trophy is named.
 
To apply, submit an application detailing your Brangus involvement, agricultural aspirations and details of your success in the beef industry.
 
The format of your application is one of your choice, with applications and a cover letter to be forwarded to the ABCA Office via email to
tessa@brangus.com.au before close of business, Friday 29th July 2022.

DNA TESTING PROCESS ABCA have made the following changes to the DNA Testing Process to implement an effective and efficient process. By implementing these changes, the DNA testing process can become more efficient - resulting in quicker sample arrival at the lab reduced risk of sample damage minimized discrepancies ultimately benefiting the members and enhancing overall experience Members are asked to adhere to the following process when submitting requests for DNA testing.
