OF THE BEEF INDUSTRY
NOMINATIONS OPEN SEPTEMBER 2026

The Brangus Youth Camp is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing young people with a hands-on, educational and enjoyable experience within the beef cattle industry.
Held over several days, the camp gives participants the opportunity to develop practical skills and knowledge across a wide range of areas, including animal care and nutrition, cattle handling, bovine anatomy, sustainable land management, soil health, public speaking and teamwork, just to name a few.
The Brangus Youth Camp is about much more than cattle. It provides an environment where young people can build confidence, develop lifelong skills, form friendships and strengthen their connection with the agricultural industry. Previous camps have inspired many participants to become more involved in agriculture while creating friendships and memories that last well beyond the event.
We also warmly welcome past Brangus Youth Camp participants and alumni to return and share their knowledge and experience with the next generation. If you would like to assist with our younger age groups, we would love to hear from you.
The success of the camp relies on the generosity and involvement of our volunteers, mentors and supporters, who help ensure every participant receives the best possible learning experience.
