
AMBASSADOR
An initiative of the Brangus Youth Consultative Committee, the Brangus Youth Ambassador Program is designed to provide networking and personal development opportunities for young beef enthusiasts and forms part of the Brangus Youth Awards and Scholarships program alongside the Burnham Youth Award and Robert Barlow Brangus International Youth Scholarship.

Applications Open - 13th October 2025
Applications Close - 7th November 2025
Award Value:
Up to $2,500 total award value
- $1,500 offered initially to the successful applicant to be spent on applicable expenses and travel to and from events associated with the ambassadorship.
- A further $1,000 is offered to the successful applicant for further expenses associated with the ambassadorship, above the initial $1,500 is paid on receipt of relevant expense invoices.
Requirements for application:
- Between 18 and 30 years of age.
- Applicant does not need to be directly aligned with the Brangus breed, but rather a young beef enthusiast wishing to pursue opportunities to broaden their scope and horizon for future career progression and development.
- The ambassadorship will be awarded to the successful applicant at the 2025 Brangus Youth Camp. As such the applicants will be required to attend the annual Brangus Youth Camp held between the 15th and 18th of December 2025 as either a group leader or volunteer and be part of the educational sessions.
- Required to travel as part of the bursary and attend several educational, developmental and networking events.
- To provide a written report at the end of the 12-month ambassadorship documenting the events attended and key learnings for the ambassadorship. This written report will be shared with Brangus Australia and the Brangus Youth Consultative Committee and will be published in the Autumn edition of the Australian Brangus magazine.
Extra Opportunities Available:
- The option to judge as an associate judge at either the annual Brangus Feature Show or the RNA Royal Exhibition in Brisbane for the Brangus Breed.
- The opportunity to sit in on either the Brangus Youth Consultative Committee or Brangus Youth Camp monthly meetings to understand the committee processes and efforts.
