How do I apply?

To apply submit an application detailing your Brangus involvement, agricultural aspirations and details of your success in the beef industry.

The format of your application is one of your choice, with applications and a cover letter to be forwarded to the ABCA Office via email to 
tessa@brangus.com.au before Sunday 31st October 2021.


Who can apply?

ABCA members who are aged between 18 and 35. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and border closure, applicants must QLD residents.


What should I expect at the event?


The Young Beef Producers’ Forum is a two-day conference focused on providing educational, networking and capacity building opportunities for u40 year old‘s with an interest in the beef industry.

Now in its 17th year, the YBPF is of the highest quality, inspiring, engaging and life changing – equipping young beef producers to make a difference in all aspects of their lives, including on-farm, off-farm, family, personal and business related areas.

This year’s theme is Managing Milestones. It has been developed for young producers, by young producers. With the guidance of a steering committee sharing their perspectives and ideas this event has been coordinated by the Future Farmers Network.

So whether you’re a beef producer, involved in a family business or have a connection with the industry, this year’s Young Beef Producers’ Forum is simply not to be missed.

What's covered?

Brangus Australia Youth will provide the successful applicant a ticket to the YBPF ($195) and three nights accommodation in Roma, QLD.


The successful applicant will need to organise and cover travel.

DNA TESTING PROCESS ABCA have made the following changes to the DNA Testing Process to implement an effective and efficient process. By implementing these changes, the DNA testing process can become more efficient - resulting in quicker sample arrival at the lab reduced risk of sample damage minimized discrepancies ultimately benefiting the members and enhancing overall experience Members are asked to adhere to the following process when submitting requests for DNA testing.
