Brock Dahtler Awarded 2022 Burnham Youth Award

We congratulate Brock Dahtler, of Doc's Brangus, for taking out the 'Burnham Youth Award' for 2022*.

Brock is a quiet achiever in the Brangus world, building his herd from scratch after being gifted a Karingal heifer by his mother Glenda for his 14th birthday. He has been very active on the show circuit, bringing home some impressive wins and has big plans for his stud. Now 22, Brock has a very handy line of breeders and has recently invested in some Bimbadeen and Telpara Hills bloodlines for his herd. We look forward to seeing much more of Doc's Brangus in the showring in the lead-up to Beef 2024.

The Burnham Youth Award was instigated by Bruce and Barbara Burnham in 1998 to encourage young Brangus breeders and recognise their energy, passion and dedication to the breed. We are delighted to see Brock's name added to a fabulous list of winners over the past 24 years, including many who are currently 'movers and shakers' in Australian Brangus and the Australian beef industry.

* Award announced at the ABCA AGM on Monday 10th October in Rockhampton.
