Expressions of Interest

Brangus Technical & Breed Development Committee

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from members who would be interested in joining the
Brangus Technical & Breed Development Committee.

 

This committee would provide structured feedback, ideas, and suggestions from members to the Brangus Australia Board of Directors; assist management in developing strategies and policies that ensure Brangus Australia’s technical and development initiatives and programs meet the current and future requirements of members and the industry.


Committee members would be required to meet throughout the year and would have the opportunity to provide feedback on developments such as updated Selection Indexes, Single Step Analysis and other performance recording and genetic testing discussions.

 

The committee will be chaired by Brangus Board Member, Justin Boshammer.

DNA TESTING PROCESS ABCA have made the following changes to the DNA Testing Process to implement an effective and efficient process. By implementing these changes, the DNA testing process can become more efficient - resulting in quicker sample arrival at the lab reduced risk of sample damage minimized discrepancies ultimately benefiting the members and enhancing overall experience Members are asked to adhere to the following process when submitting requests for DNA testing.
