us Youth member an incredible opportunity
to attend the 2024 ICMJ Northern Conference.

ICMJ Northern Conference, Rockhampton
3rd - 6th April 2024


It's going to be a big year in the beef industry!



Hosted at CQU and Teys Rockhampton, the Northern ICMJ conference aims to:

  • Equip attendees with better knowledge and skills specific to northern beef production
    and associated meat quality and attributes

  • Highlight carcass characteristics of northern beef breeds and resulting meat quality

  • Raise awareness of career and networking opportunities and create linkages with future employers and industry across the northern beef supply chain

  • Expose attendees to new technologies and capabilities within the meat industry

  • Create knowledge of Australia’s position within the global meat supply chain


Includes:
Full ICMJ Northern Conference registration (Wednesday – Saturday),
$200 for accommodation
Embroidered RM Williams vest  
 

Criteria:
Brangus Australia Youth and Full member between the ages of 18-25.

Applications will be selected by a panel and award recipients
announced 6th March 2024.


Applicant will be required to provide a short editorial accompanied by photos from their
experience for inclusion in the Autumn Australian Brangus magazine.

DNA TESTING PROCESS ABCA have made the following changes to the DNA Testing Process to implement an effective and efficient process. By implementing these changes, the DNA testing process can become more efficient - resulting in quicker sample arrival at the lab reduced risk of sample damage minimized discrepancies ultimately benefiting the members and enhancing overall experience Members are asked to adhere to the following process when submitting requests for DNA testing.
