Juanita Trustum Appointed

Zone 3 Representative

The ABCA is excited to announce that Juanita Trustum has been appointed the Zone 3 Representative on the ABCA Board of Directors.

Juanita Trustum lives in Leeville NSW, and operates Weona Brangus stud. Juanita's sons, Mitchell, who works on a Brahman stud and Lachlan, who is heavily involved with the breeding program at Weona, have a keen interest in the cattle industry.

Juanita's parents Warren & Robyn Bulmer, established Weona Brangus almost 45 years ago. Over time they have seen the breed and cattle industry change in many ways.

Weona is predominantly an Australian-based genetics herd with a small portion of American genetics. They aim to produce animals that will 'leave a mark' in the Brangus breed. Along with showing cattle, Juanita's passion is breeding commercial and stud Brangus.

Juanita has previously held positions at T & W McCormack, a Livestock and Real Estate business in Casino. She is a past Secretary of the Casino All Breeds Sale group and is currently a Casino BosIndicus Youth Cattle Camp and Roma Sale committee member.

Juanita looks forward to working collaboratively with the current board and meeting fellow Brangus breeders. She aims to bring new ideas and ways to encourage and ensure that the Brangus breed moves forward and continues to grow.

Members are encouraged to contact Juanita or any other Director with questions or concerns.
