This year the 2020 Roma Brangus Sale Entry Form is an electronic form. We encourage all members to submit their entries online where possible to avoid any postal delays. If you would like a PDF copy of the entry form, please contact the ABCA office on 02 6773 3373 or email tessa@brangus.com.au

Please note that there have been several changes to the Conditions of Sale for 2020, please see them listed below;

2. Sale nominations close on FRIDAY 26th JUNE 2020. Nominations must be completed online or completed forms must be RETURNED TO THE ABCA. Sale applications received postmarked after the closing date will not be accepted. Entry fees must accompany the entry nominations and payment can be made by Cheque or providing Credit Card details or can be deposited in FULL into the ABCA account. Please ensure that you reference your deposit with your Herd ID.

7. The entry fees are as follows;

Registered Bulls - $137.50
Herd Bulls - $200.00
Registered Females - $77.50
Semen Packages (10 x straws) - $22.00
Embryo Packages (4 x embryos) - $55.00
 
Entry fees include; Entry to the sale, animal images published online & transfers after sale

14. All Registered Bulls MUST have a Brangus Genomic Bundle (50K SNP, PV, Poll/Horn, Coat & Tenderness tests) competed. The Brangus Genomic Bundle must be requested through the ABCA prior to nominations closing and must be completed by the time of sale.

15. All scanning and weighing of animals MUST be conducted on property prior to the sale. NB: Dentition is no longer required.

16. All scanning and weighing MUST be carried out by an Accredited Scanner.

17. Copies of the Accredited Scanner reports on all animal’s (including substitutes) must be provided to the ABCA office no later than 5pm on Friday 28th August 2020 for inclusion in the supplementary sheet information to be compiled and made available to the Selling Agents and potential buyers as well as uploading on the ABCA website & social media.

18. All cattle MUST be penned by 2pm on 3rd September 2020. A copy of the Veterinary report must be delivered to the Sale Committee by 4pm on 3rd September 2020 at the Sale Venue.

Please be advised that on Thursday 3rd September there will be a Bull Walk at 4pm with light refreshments available and an informal gathering that evening at the Roma Club Hotel.

Samples can be submitted using the Neogen Hair Collection Cards, TSUs or semen straws. An ABCA DNA Application Form must accompany the samples. Neogen Australasia allows 6-8 weeks for results to be reported.

DNA TESTING PROCESS ABCA have made the following changes to the DNA Testing Process to implement an effective and efficient process. By implementing these changes, the DNA testing process can become more efficient - resulting in quicker sample arrival at the lab reduced risk of sample damage minimized discrepancies ultimately benefiting the members and enhancing overall experience Members are asked to adhere to the following process when submitting requests for DNA testing.
