BEEF 2021 - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

The ABCA is currently gathering info from members to help create the strongest Brangus presence possible at BEEF 2021. We are very proud that Brangus was the fourth largest breed on show at BEEF 2018, with 190 exhibits in the show ring.

The ABCA Office & Board is dedicated to making BEEF 2021 just as successful for our great breed - to allow for effective & efficient planning we are calling for Expressions of Interests for any interested studs who may wish to: (A) have a stand/display within the Brangus marquee (not for show cattle); or (B) wish to show their registered Brangus cattle during the event.

DISPLAY WITHIN ABCA MARQUE

Brangus Stud Breeders will be able to purchase set areas within the Brangus marquee (similar to BEEF 2018). Our display at the last BEEF event provided a great presence for Brangus and we look forward matching (or exceeding) this effort in 2021. Please note that spaces will be limited.

Costings for stands & more details will be available shortly and will be provided to those who have submitted an Expressions of Interest. We are working on plans to also make it possible for members to share display areas.

If you are planning on having a stand on the Brangus Site at BEEF 2021, please complete the below Expression of Interest form before
COB Friday 20th November 2020.

ALL Expressions of Interests submitted will only be a guide for the ABCA Office & BEEF Committee, and will no way be binding on any members.

STUD CATTLE

We also need to provide Beef 2021 staff with the approximate number of Brangus cattle likely to be nominated for showing. This will help ensure that sufficient space is allocated for our members in the separate area for show cattle.

Below is a video message from BEEF Stud Cattle Chair, Russell Hughes.

BEEF’s aim for the 2021 expo is to bring all the cattle back into the one area beside centre ring and to highlight the cattle through a breed precinct layout, where visitors will have the opportunity to look at the best of the best of each breed in one area. All 32 breeds will be housed side by side across four large hockers up to 140 metres long and 30 metres wide. This layout has been based on feedback from exhibitors and attendees of the expo. For this reason you will not be able to have show cattle housed on trade sites.

If you are planning on exhibiting Stud Cattle at BEEF 2021, please complete the below Expression of Interest form before
COB Friday 20th November 2020.

BEEF 2021 Nomination fees: $175 per head

Exhibitors nominating over 5 head are able to request additional spacing which will allow them to set up a display at their cattle. The fees for these additional spaces has not yet been set they will be the same or less than the cost of nominating an animal.

Additional spaces are 1.2x3m
5-9 head nominated allows exhibitors to request up to 2 additional spaces
