RE: Notification of Resignation of Zone 2 Director
 
Dear Members,
 
On behalf of the Australian Brangus Cattle Association Board of Directors I wish to advise you that we have received a resignation letter from Mark Beckman the Zone 2 director effective immediately.
 
I would like to thank Mark for his hard work, dedication and leadership to the ABCA over the past 5 years. For 4 years Mark was the President of the Society and has helped implement many beneficial changes for the Society & Breed. Mark's time on the Board also saw him Chair the Roma sale committee and dedicate many hours to the successful running of the sale. I would like to wish Mark and his family all the best for the future.
 
The ABCA Board of Director will be making a decision regarding the replacement of the Zone 2 Director and will update the membership as soon as a decision has been made. In the interim could all Zone 2 members please contact Tessa Pearson, ABCA Executive Officer at the office, myself or any other ABCA Board Members.
 
Mark has requested that his resignation letter be shared with members of the Society and is available to read below.

DNA TESTING PROCESS ABCA have made the following changes to the DNA Testing Process to implement an effective and efficient process. By implementing these changes, the DNA testing process can become more efficient - resulting in quicker sample arrival at the lab reduced risk of sample damage minimized discrepancies ultimately benefiting the members and enhancing overall experience Members are asked to adhere to the following process when submitting requests for DNA testing.
